Most tables use 4 to 6 standard 52-card decks, shuffled at regular intervals using an automatic shuffler.
The dealer must draw an additional card if the hand total is 16 or below, and must stand at 17 (including soft 17 on most tables).
You can split a pair of equal-value cards up to 3 times. Splitting Aces allows only one additional card per hand.
Blackjack has one of the highest return-to-player (RTP) rates of any casino game — up to 99.5% when you apply the correct basic strategy. This means the house edge is less than 0.5% against players who play optimally at the fungame777 tables.
You don't need to count cards like in the movies. This straightforward basic blackjack strategy can help you make smarter decisions every round at the fungame777 tables.
| Your Hand Total | Dealer 2–6 | Dealer 7–9 | Dealer 10/Ace |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8 or fewer | Hit | Hit | Hit |
| 9 | Double | Hit | Hit |
| 10 | Double | Double | Hit |
| 11 | Double | Double | Double |
| 12 | Stand | Hit | Hit |
| 13–16 | Stand | Hit | Hit |
| 17 or above | Stand | Stand | Stand |
| Pair of Aces | Split | Split | Split |
| Pair of 8s | Split | Split | Split |
The table above serves as a general guide for standard 4–6 deck Blackjack. Certain situations may call for variations depending on the specific table rules.
An insurance bet may feel like a safe move, but mathematically it favours the house in the long run. Most blackjack experts recommend avoiding it altogether.
A pair of Aces gives you two chances to land a Blackjack. A pair of 8s (totalling 16) is the weakest hand – splitting gives you a better shot with both.
With a hand total of 11, your chances of hitting 21 or a high value are strong. Doubling down in this situation is one of the most profitable moves in blackjack.
When the dealer shows a 4, 5, or 6, there's a good chance they'll bust. In these situations, stand on your hand even if your total is as low as 12 or 13.
Set a loss limit you're comfortable with before you start playing. Use the deposit limit feature in your fungame777 account to stay in control throughout every session.

Blackjack is one of the most popular casino games in Malaysia, and for good reason. Unlike slots, which rely entirely on luck, blackjack blends chance with strategy. Players who take the time to learn basic strategy can bring the house edge down to under 0.5%, making blackjack one of the most "fair" games in the casino world. At fungame777, we understand this — which is why all our tables offer consistent, transparent rules.
Fungame777 offers over 15 blackjack variants to suit players of every level. New players can start on free demo tables to master basic strategy with zero financial risk. Once confident, they can move up to low-limit Classic tables starting from just RM5. More experienced players can test their skills on Vegas Strip or Multi-Hand tables, which offer more complex gameplay dynamics and greater winning potential.
